Greetings from the USA,
Jan and I are back home and I wanted to thank everyone involved with Podcamp Ireland for the warm hospitality and the excellent program. I wish we had had time to spend the entire day, but the morning sessions were brilliant.
We particularly enjoyed meeting so many nice people. Sometimes we get so caught up in social media that we forget that the real point of it all is to meet new people, not just online, but eventually in person as well.
There is a wealth of knowledge in our rather limited web 2.0 community that we need to share with others who aren’t yet using all the online tools. It’s up to all of us to evangelize those who haven’t yet joined the conversation.
Thanks again to all involved and I hope to meet all of you again soon.
