We plan to invite the voices from the Bealtaine Radio Series to Kilkenny from the Sue Ryder Retirement Centre in Holycross. They are a charming crew with stories to share.

@Mike, @Ewan - Love to have you both along for PodCamp in Kilkenny this year. Being the Kilkenny resident on the organising team I’m sure you’ll have a great time in the city in September, both at PodCamp and enjoying the surrounds!

@Mike - let us know if there is anything you need us to help with in terms of your itinerary on the ground.

And absolutely yes - we would love to have you lead a session. We’ll let you know when we have finalised the site for adding suggestions and will be probably following the Reboot model for deciding on the final sessions.

@Mike - great idea - last year we had Grannymar with us talking about blogging. The more we can show how social media can connect the generations and how different generations are using social media the better. Do keep the idea’s rolling and of course if you would like to lead a session let me know.

@Ewan - it would be great if you could join us and make a weekend of being in Ireland with your family. And again if you’d like to host a session let me know. I agree that few of understand the power of storytelling and how it can be used to great effect. At our planning meeting today we even discussed how storytelling might become our overall theme for PodCamp Ireland 2008.

I’d be keen to come along to this and bring la famille with me for a wee holiday either side. ALL of these themes are up my street. I think the power of story is still underestimated, by corporates, geeks, educators… you name it. I’d be keen to push some boundaries on storytelling here.
